Credit where Credit is Due

I have had this quote on my blackboard for some time now

"Originality is not doing something no on else has ever done,
but doing what has been done countless times with new life, new breath"
-Marie Chapman

We all know everything has been done before...patterns, designs, songs, music, everything.

At least have the courage & decency if you use someone's ideas give them credit for inspiring you,
or give it enough new life & breath that it is different.
